I continue to perfect my personal style in the evolution of my Iconic Figurative artwork. Many of these represent the relationship between Anima and Animus , from Carl Jung's school of analytical psychology, the two primary anthropomorphic archetypes of the unconscious mind. Inspired by the work of Ernst Haeckel on microscopic marine organisms , such as Radiolarians, Protozoa, Diatoms, Anemones, Radiolaria, Amebas and Hydras. This series of paintings and etchings are a visual memoir of the loss of marine life as a result of the oil discharges due to the Deepwater Horizon Incident on April 20, 2010.

Birds are an archetypal symbol for the spirit and its freedom from the limitations of the material world. In 1993 After reading Ken Carey's book, 'Return of the Birdtribes' -I began to include the bird image in most of my paintings and which constitutes a fundamental source of inspiration for this collection of paintings.They represent 'the Birdtribes' as the higher dimensional aspects of Being, including our selves.
